2022 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Is there a dedicated Transfer Portal thread?
If not why not.

Anyway Cody Simon’s bro at ND entered the portal.
He was a highly recruited LB a year ahead of Cody.
His career really hasn’t taken off. He was out all last year with an injury.

Maybe this guy:

4. BRANDON JOSEPH, S (93)

Overall rank: No. 8

Former school: Northwestern

The word: Preseason All-American Brandon Joseph entered the transfer portal last week. As a productive, impact starter this season for the Wildcats, Joseph collected 79 tackles and three interceptions. Over his past two seasons, Joseph has a program-best nine takeaways and is one of most-skilled ballhawks available this cycle.

Seems to me these late additions are pretty fantastic and just might boost the overall class rankings huh? No one is catching A&M but I like the overall makeup very much

Absolutely, getting Hinzman and Kanu were incredible pickups at absolute positions of needs. Regardless of ranking, it was what our team needed...I would rather land them than the #1 WR in the country just based on demand. Ecstatic to land both.

Dang, if he can get technique and the playbook down, he could contribute immediately and get in the two deep. He looks physically ready.

11W coverage of the event didn't make it sound too promising for early contribution from him but it could have just been a bad day/week.

  • Saturday is a day offensive line signee George Fitzpatrick is going to want back. Fitzpatrick allowed multiple sacks and was beaten pretty badly on his first series by Penn State signee Dani Dennis-Sutton, who sacked Devin Brown on the soon-to-be Ohio State quarterback’s first play in the game.
