Who will finish Ohio State 2021 recruiting class?
Here’s how, on May 22, we see the Buckeyes finishing this cycle, starting on offense.

Can someone explain the thought process behind this move to me?

It looks to me like they are choosing to reduce the quality of their product, reduce the amount of interest in their product, and reduce the amount of traffic to their site.

The benefit is...

It seems like they’ve always taken issue with out of network guys getting praise for their accuracy, especially when it contradicted in-network personnel.

A few classes ago people started pointing out that outside guys like Ellis were being rewarded less points than guys like Wiltfong and Loy, even though he had his predictions in well before theirs.

Yup. It seems as though it’s an industry filled with petty jealousy where bravado trumps substance more often than it should.

I would say that is my precise wish list on how to finish the class, but I seriously think it is a likely finish as things stand right now. Unreal.

I think the benefit to 247 is it gets them out of a no-win situation. If your guys are the best prognosticators, well, the people reading your website are already there. If your guys aren't the best, your own website is quantitatively advertising for your competitors.

True - but now I only go to 247 because I get everything and don't need to visit other sites. Now I have a reason to do so.

Of course, I can get it all right here for only $19.97 a year (charter subscriber rate).

Regarding the movement on Burke and his very likely addition to the class-

I wonder if a spot opened up (via Jager Burton, for instance), or if they just like Burke better as a pure corner, which there is speculation about on the 11W board.

Alex Gleitman says they’re still pursuing Davies and Davis Jr in the DB class.
