2021 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

So, the Crystal Ball has Ohio State adding JC Latham, Emeka Egbuka, Jager Burton, J.T. Tuimoloau and Hudson Wolfe. That would be a spectacular group of five additions. Two others to really keep in mind I think are safety Derrick Davis Jr. and defensive linemen Tywone Malone.

I'm the most excited about J.T. Tuimoloau, you can't get too many 5 star DEs.

Anyway it is a good 24/7 Sports crystal ball summary.

While our class might end up as historic, don't be surprised if Georgia is right up there with us at the end. Right now they have only one 5* commit (QB Brock Vandagriff who is #12 overall), but they are also 100% CB'd to the #6, #7, and #11 players (OT Amarius Mims, CB Tony Grimes, and S James Williams), which would give them four of the top 12 players. They are also 100% CB'd to the#27, #45, #46, and #48 players, which would give them eight in the top 50. That said, if we get the trio of Tuimoloau, Egbuka, and Latham, we'd have eight in the top 33.

My vote is Grimes is leaning to UNC with Dre’ Bly as his coach.....

Imagine for a minute if Georgia was ever able to "put a fence" around the state the way the last several Buckeye coaches have in Ohio. Even with meh coaching they'd probably dominate the playoffs most every year. Not to mention the ensuing demise of their southern competition.

Edit...Georgia apparently making a big move toward recruiting lead with high interest from top 10ers Korey Foreman and Maason Smith.
