You said 5 or 6 for the OL. I honestly think 6 is a minimum and since we are halfway there I believe the last 3 need to include no reaches or we go to 7. The depth in that position group is crazy thin.Alright, since you all asked me (welcome to RB07OSU's offseason), here is my still way too early guestimate of this class:
QB: Jack Miller (he is solid and hopefully he brings in some more AZ recruits in this class)
RB: Darvon Hubbard (great player and he seems solid, but let's see what happens after we bring another RB in the class)
RB/Pivot: Michael Drennen II (I see a ton of similarities to Curtis Samuel here, I think Drennen fits perfectly in the pivot spot...with Snead exiting, I suspect we take on more pure RB in addition to Hubbard and Drennen, just don't know who yet...we'll go all out on Milton and EJ Smith, but they are long shots right now)
WR: Gee Scoot Jr. (appears solid and great player to start off with at WR)
WR: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (very underrated WR and should stick, but let's see after we nail down some other targets)
WR: Rakim Jarrett (just a matter of time imo but hopefully he joins sooner rather than later to help with recruiting)
WR: Julian Fleming (going on a big limb here but I like our odds with Day at the helm, our pass-friendly offense, and the relationship with Fields...I think we win out here...Fleming, Jarrett, Smith-Njigba and Scott would be a mind-boggling WR class)
TE: Mark Redman (no idea where we stand with him but we'll likely be taking a TE in this class and there are very few offers out there...really want Darnell Washington from NV, but that is not likely happening)
OL: Paris Johnson (he's solid, visits don't concern me at all)
OL: Luke Wypler (also believe he is solid but we'll keep recruiting him hard to make sure he is solid)
OL Jakob James (solid, end of story)
OL: Turner Corcoran (if he decided today, it would be OSU...but need to keep pursuing hard to fight off the locals)
OL: Jake Wray (I think Jake comes back into the fold and joins his big bro, but it is far from a sure thing...we'll take at least 5 OL, probably 6 in this class)
OL: Justin Rodgers (another bold prediction, as he appears to be a UGA lean right now...but we had a huge lead and I think we can get it back with some hard work and the development of relationships with the new staff...getting Rodgers on top of what we already have would make this an OL class for the books...also keep a close eye on Reece Attebery and Geirean Hatchett)
DE: Darrion Henry (matter of when, not if...major talent)
DE: Bryan Bresee (I hesitated adding him, as I think we are slightly trailing right now...but I think the long-term relationship with LJ Sr. and our need for DE's might push us to the finish line...would love Sav'ell Smalls as well and think that might be a realistic chance if we pursue hard...highly unlikely to get both but either one would be enormous)
DE/LB: Jaheim Thomas (think he gets offered soon and joins Henry..I think Thomas lands at DE)
DE/LB Mekhail Sherman (still sitting pretty but Tre Williams to Clemson doesn't help...need to lock down Jarrett asap and go all out on Sherman, he's a high priority in this class...I like Sherman at LB and we can put him on the end in rush situations)
DT: Cole Brevard (no idea here after Tre Williams pulled the trigger for Clemson...I would think we would want two DT's in this class, but offers have been sparse)
LB: DeaMonte Trayanum (could be RB or Safety, but I think he fits in as a LB by nature and by need)
LB: No clue (seriously no clue...we need at least 2 and likely 3 LB's...Sherman and Trenayum make 2 but we need another pure LB...I would imagine that becomes clearer as Washington settles in and starts recruiting
DB: Henry Gray (I've got a good feeling on flipping him for some reason)
DB: Lejond Cavazos (he will come back to the good guys eventually, just needs to feel out the new staff first)
DB: Kelee Ringo (another bold prediction but Ringo is a priority for the staff and Miller and Hubbard will help...we push hard and make Ringo the centerpiece of this DB class)
DB: RJ Mickens (like where we sit and one of the best safeties in the nation)
DB: Dwight McGlothern (with the staff pursuing, I think we have a great shot here)
DB: Miles Brooks (long way to go here but I like where we are at...not sure we take 6 DB's, but I think we take at least 5)
ATH: Jutahn McClain (will be a Buckeye and I see him on the offensive side of the ball)
- Does that potential class make you grin from ear to ear? Me too. Some of it may not come to fruition, but the 2020 class is going to be LOADED.

Wow.
Not so fast, my friend. Michigan fan has something to say about Ohio State's recruiting domination:The way things are trending right now, so much for that "big recruiting drop off" fans of other B1G schools were salivating over.
