tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Saw somewhere that looking at the NFL 'players of the year', Buckeyes littered that statistic in a big way. And looking at how Emeka is doing this year for a middle-of-the-road team is truly heartening. Keep it up guys. Am fairly certain that there's a power-point slide showing Buckeyes doing well in the POY in the NFL on each coach's recruiting repertoire.

So now guess we're going to see a HS kid driving a Ferrari to school. Only time saw that (not a Ferrari however), was the kid whose father owned a car dealership. That was a more modest Corvette....Probably more expressive than several pairs of Jordans.....
Not sure what kids will drive Ferraris to school other than the rich kids or kids of parents who own dealerships. HS NIL isn’t going to be the same amount as what the college kids make. Because the local markets won’t pay close to that. HS kids will earn money based off of local businesses in their area. No local store in say Wapokaneta, Springboro, Lebanon, etc will pay a teenager enough for a luxury car. He’ll probably earn enough for a few new Jordans

Why would anyone (especially middle aged and up) care about what kind of cars kids drive to school?
Because that’s a way to prove that kids don’t deserve to earn NIL and they’ll just waste THEIR money on frivolous things that these middle aged men cant afford.
This Wasn’t directed at @calibuck but just my thoughts when I constantly hear people irl complain about HSers earning NIL while they watch this kid in a new stadium with new scoreboard, new track, new lights, etc. Its a business’ right to pay who they want
