We lost the #1 player in Ohio to a team that beat us by 31 in the Playoffs last year on their way to the NC and is heading that way again. The number 1 player in OHIO (our back yard). The number 9 player in the country. To a team that is achieving our stated goals. It is not a pleasant message to send to the world.

We are OK. "Fine" may be a bit strong.

That said, on the first ever early signing day - nobody has it better than Michigan.

What a great class that could have been....I'm guessing Woodbey is probably out as well.....

Which we did with Parson's but yet we continued after Jackson... We need OT's and had some recruiting misses over the past few years which IMO helped our coaches come to grips with pressing on with Carmen.

We should have dropped the kid like we did Micah back in September but the coaches probably deemed the talent worth the hassle. If he's going to criticize the coaches when he's not even a player what will he do when he's not starting on opening day next year?

Most of this sight puts his twitter spat with Herbie on Kirk but Jackson was every bit to blame for that. Herbstreit went to bat for JT and OSU, and Jackson pushed back.

Would've been a great get but would not be shocked if he doesn't end up being as good as most think he will be.

Only thing that "bothers" me about all this today is the narrative talking heads will have to say "Ohio State is trending down" "Ohio State does not like early signing day" a lot of stuff used as click bait.

Wouldn't say I had him penciled in as no one is ever penciled in, but more so was expecting him to be in S&G enough that him picking Clemson surprised me when I saw the headline. Hope the staff has a good backup plan in place and can pick up a solid O lineman. Really stings to lose to Clemson in the recruiting trail after the last 2 games with them.
