Let me check...Michigan sure got a huge bump when they got Derrick Green. Green's worth the max 300 points but they would also would have lost points because of the 25th counted commit being dropped from scoring, and Michigan seemed to have jumped the full 300.

EDIT: Yep, they count only the top 25 commits. Michigan must've had their only 2-star bumped out...

EDIT2: Still, if Michigan gets another commit from a 4-star or higher, they'll gain significant points because their lowest 3-star will get bumped from scoring...

If nothing else changes, and we get Bell and Wilson (5-star, #2 position and 4-star, #10 position), it would put us 2 whole points behind Michigan (5114 vs 5112). Which in reality means squat as long we get the players UFM wants...

Exactly. I could give a darn about how many beauty points they get in recruiting. I just want to see us beat their butts on the field of play every year.

osu just needs to record some goodwill on the asset side of the ledger matched in the equity section for letting green go up north to solve that problem, and they don't even have to veer from GAAP.
