The Buckeyes & Boilermakers both look for their fourth straight win on Wednesday night.

Two games back to back, starting tonight , then on to Rutgers on the 8th. Tonights match-up with Purdue will tell a story of how far we have come, by going to a smaller line-up, against thier 2 seven footers. It will be a very interesting game to watch. "Go Bucks "

I have no idea what to expect tonight. We are much better in the back court, they are much better in the front court. They don't shoot the ball all that well, so we might be able to get away with the small lineup by coming with a quick double team every time the ball goes to the post and then hope to get some steals digging at the ball or rotating into passing lanes. The problem is that they aren't just tall at C, they are big and pretty talented. AW and TMAc might have to play big roles in this game.

Yup. It will be interesting to see what lineup Matta goes with. I just cannot see him going with the smaller lineup and that might include the small lineup with Lee. Purdue's two big guys in the middle, especially Hammonds, is going to cause us problems if we go small. However after sitting Williams for almost completely 2 games, it will be interesting to see if Matta plays him. I just do not see us winning with the small lineup but Lord knows I have been wrong before:wink:

Halftime 27-26 Purdue; statistically it fairly even except is Purdue is 8-8 from the line and the Bucks are 0-1. Our three "bigs' have 2 fouls each.

Wimpy prediction: it goes "down to the wire".

Since I'm usually wrong, I'll go with Purdue slowly pulling away as Ohio State can't get Russell free enough without Loving's shooting threat. Purdue will win by 15 or so once you factor in the FTs that always come at the end of every game.
