tOSU @ Maryland, Sat Nov 19, 3:30 pm, ABC

He was non weight bearing on the boot. It would be a miracle to see him even travel this week. I can't see him back until at least playoff time

The immediate boot has become an almost automatic I have seen OSU utilize the last few years, which enables the player to watch the rest of the game from the sideline, be non weight-bearing to further protect additional trauma until it can be further and more thoroughly evaluated.

Long story short..... I wouldn't read too much into the boot if he's out of it, moving comfortably and practicing mid-week, then it wasn't as bad as it looked at 1st glance. Those slow-mo replays always look bad.

There was a play earlier in the game where he went down awkwardly and I thought it looked far worse than the one that actually took him out for the rest of the day. I didn’t think he would get up from the first one, so I was pretty shocked when he got right back to his feet.

Then there’s the whole SuperHuman Marv catch…

This… on all counts. When MW went down without getting back up I rewound and still couldn’t find where it looked like an injury happened. I’m sure it did as he was having himself a day to put his name in the books again… convinced he didn’t want to come out.

On MH’s sideline leg-sprouting-from-shoulder catch? Let’s just say I had to change my undies after that. I was sure there was no way one could contort like that without at least some soft tissue damage.

Not saying this game is gonna be that competitive, but to think it’s blowout city is presumptuous IMO.

Run game will be interesting, weather could be a factor, and Maryland has talent….not tOSU talent but enough to be dangerous.

We’ve seen how teams can stay close to tOSU for long stretches. I would not be surprised at all if this game is tight going into mid 3rd….JMO
