Disagree. They had some struggles inside the 10, and gave up a couple sacks. The penalties I can forgive because we just reimplemented the hand clap signal. Overall, they opened a lot of holes for Zeke, and with a few exceptions, JT had plenty of time to throw. I'd give it a solid B. I know some folks are used to seeing the line from last year, but the reality is, that was the best Buckeye line in many, many years. This line is growing, and is far, far better than the one we saw in weeks one and two.

2 stories about UMd football:

1. I took a Saturday class on fall semester. After class I wandered over to Byrd stadium where UMd was upsetting North Carolina. Walked in and sat on the 40 yardline for the 2nd half.
2. Another Saturday class, Ohio University was visiting. The Bobcats had a good following, I walked through the OU tailgate area high-five'ing with the Bobcat faithful. OU won 21-0

They didn't like the O-H-I-O cheer in the third quarter and boo'd it. By the end of the game there weren't enough of them left to matter.

Sellout my ass. The entire section next to me was empty.

The kickoff that refused to go out of bounds and the hurdle were awesome. Ohio State left at least 14 points on the field and still hung half a hundred on them. Fuck the turtles.

The Buckeyes showed improvement against an opponent pretty much equivalent to Virginia Tech. There was much to like in the first half on both sides of the ball. The defense looked a bit confused at times and Maryland were able to put three good drives together consecutively in the second half. Meyer was right to express concern about that in his final remarks on the field. All in all, a top 15 team beginning to show signs of what was expected.

Great day....a win, Buckeye Nation out in force, great weather and got to chat it up with the team as they were leaving the locker room for the bus. Everyone was appreciative of the fans & no one got shooed away from pictures, etc. It's a great time to be a Buckeye....

LET'S GO BUCKS!!!!
