Hey let's take it as face value. We are up 3 touchdowns on a very potent offense on the road. Defense is really playing well except for very few mental mistakes. I'll freaking take it. All I've heard all week was how we got decimated by the kitties on 4 big plays and that MD was going to repeat that. Joey Bosa and friends said F that noise and are bringing the pain. Not quite Silver Bullets yet but they are at least firing.

Let's keep up the pressure on offense and take a good win back to Columbus.

Overall I thought we did pretty well. I thought in the middle of the 2nd we got a little conservative on offense for example we go right down the field throwing the ball and then run 3 straight times up the middle for nothing and settle for 3. If I would've liked to have seen us spread 5 wide and run a rub route with the inside receiver.

Joey Bosa will be the first pick in the NFL draft after next year. He is a absolute monster and was makes me giddy is everyone saying his brother is just as or even slightly better than him (I doubt that but still). JT Barrett is great on play action but right now Decker is getting owned backside and we need to shore that up or it could mean a turnover.

Love the defensive effort though. AMAZING open field tackling (especially with the screen game), tight coverage, and massive pressure on the QB from the line. Great to see Bennett and Frazier involved also guys..... WE GOT 3 MORE YEARS OF DARRON LEE AND RAEKWON.

Maryland is not a top 25 team, but they're not a bad team either. The last ten minutes, Maryland seemed to figure out the defense and get traction. The interception cannot hide that fact.

That said, I think it was a very good half.

Looked, at least to me, like Ohio State coaches were struggling a bit with the adjustments. Let's see what the coaches can do during the half. If Ohio State gets a stop and then scores, I think this could be a game that changes perceptions about the Buckeyes.
