I may have to take a few weeks off from watching any ESPN, because I have a feeling this latest incident will cause their "creative" juices to flow (that sounds a little nasty). Can an "outside the lines" on OSU football be far away? I can hear Jeremy Schaap now, "You'd think that with a teammate arrested just 2 weeks ago, Ohio State football players would be on their best behavior....you'd be wrong."

If another shoe drops I'm afraid I may have to avoid BP for a while- otherwise I'll have to enter a drunken stupor the likes of which I haven't seen since I lived in C-Bus.:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:

I'm really starting to wonder just how swift some of these boys are, with each passing offense. Criminy, how many times does someone have to get caught, and exposed, before the rest of them realize they will get busted, too?

This is a really stupid move. Haw must be incredibly arrogant or incredibly stupid to smoke out in the open as he did. Let him continue with his scholarship and attend class full time, but sit him for this season. I really don't care that the "charge" is the equivalent to a traffic citation. The message is not getting through to this team, and before this gets totally out of hand, it needs to be stopped. I don't think I can find a bigger Tressel homer on these boards than me, and I have hit my limit. YSU did not have a run of problems like this notwithstanding the fact that 1-AA teams usually get a few Div 1A macontents to deal with every year.

I think people think they won't get caught because, in the past, they haven't been caught.

I agree that he needs a severe punishment. Show the players that being stupid is not going to be accepted on this team.

Unbelievable! It's time for the staff to go to lockdown. Put the swasticka armbands on and bust some heads. No offense to anyone, but this stuff has to stop and it has to start with JT. With each incident my patience grows a little shorter. I love these guys but something has to be done!

I think the university should buy out an old motel six near campus and make it a football only dorm. Two guys to a room. Then, they should put a big fence around it and have buses transport the kids to and from class and practice. Otherwise they should stay in the "dorm" and study homework or film.

I mean, this would ensure that my entertainment on fall saturdays is the best it can be......and we wouldn't have to ever think of them as human beings....living and growing....making mistakes and learning.....i mean, what's the fun in that??? I want that hero in the S&G at the age of 19.....
