What the hell is Illinois doing every play with the ball? What are our guys doing, not playing through the whistles? Out of character, imo

At some point, if a bunch of guys gang up on you and try to strip the ball, it *will* come out.

That's why a lot of coaches recommend going to the ground/not fighting for too many more yards after final contact.
Our guys play for 3 seconds after the whistle and fight for every yard, which is why we get great YAC, but also why we have such a high rate of fumbles (ie Jalin Marshall in the Oregon game). Just my hypothesis.
