Outstanding play by Noah Spence. Strung it out like he's supposed to and was being held the whole time. Of course, not called but still a great play.

If Carlos can break one here, maybe we can get a FG before half.

Yep, and field position was bad. No reason to push it. Take the 7 point lead into the locker room.

We get the ball to start the 3rd.

Not sure what happened on that one drive, but overall the defense has looked pretty good. Ball is going to get yardage, the Buckeyes need to get more.

I really like the idea of giving the ball to Hyde more. I think you can run on these guys and establishing Hyde will open things up for Miller.

As for Miller, it was not his best half. He is throwing with bad foot placement, putting too much on it when unnecessary and that run into the endzone was very silly indeed. Just needs to settle down a bit.

I'm thinking that the Buckeyes will come out and get on it in the 3rd quarter.

2nd half I think we need to see more of Hyde running the ball instead of
Braxton. The pass has been there all day long. I would like to see us go deep
a couple times in the 2nd half.


I've been impressed with Wisky's ability to stop Braxton. Good game plan
against him. Hopefully lots of HYDE in 2nd half.


Our D has been hot and cold. I'm happy with only giving up 7 pts in the first
half though and hope we can replicate that in the 2nd half. Would like to see us get at least one turnover.

Difference in the game thus far: SPECIAL TEAMS - Hopefully we continue to win this battle.

Too much Braxton running east/west on first down. Run Hyde up the middle and get your 5-6 yards and keep yourself in good position with the 1st down marker.

This game is a Stoneburner drop from being a pretty comfortable lead. I for one like Braxton's authority today throwing the ball but has he attempted a throw further than 10 yards? Go deep here and there keep them honest.

To me this feels like a game that should be over by now but yet it isn't because we couldn't capitalize. Credit their defense but then again the offensive game plan needs tweaked a little as well. They're playing the edge so pound them up the middle, and then when they compensate hit them outside with #5.

This is a game that from my eyes shouldn't be in question at this point. They have zero threat throwing the ball. Disappointed in the offense.
