Late hit by Thomas:
When was the last time you heard of a linebacker complaining about getting hit by a wide receiver?
Just like getting tackled by a kicker or punter should get the ball carrier ridiculed into the stone age, a linebacker getting a penalty for being late-hit by a wide receiver should be enough to make him cry.

You're right, it wasn't much of a hit and the whining factor was huge...but it was a Wolverine-esque stunt by Thomas and he deserved to have UFM yank him from the game for that one.

I can agree with that. I guess the referees did well to penalize the player. (I'm certainly not saying it shouldn't have been a penalty, even if I said that before.) And Meyer should make Thomas smell rat poo for a week for that. But Penn State players ought to tease the linebacker for getting his ass knocked down by a freshman wide receiver.

(On a side note, this may be the first in-conference game I've ever rooted for Wisconsin.)

I like the idea of Wisconsin losing because going to the championship game with a 4-4 record might teach a little humility to their whining ass coach and players. Then I realize that means cheering for the Pedsters.

Didn't get to post during the game, and one of the worst possible family emergencies you can imagine has kept me from doing much of anything, but I was able to watch the game and I am proud of the team finding a way to win.

11-0 is so sweet to type.

Don't know if this has been posted but I LOVED our guys doing the 7-Nation Army chant on the sidelines in support of our defense and in response (I can only assume) to their fans' bullsh*t Jump Around schtick. Not something we'd want to make a habit of doing but it was wholly appropriate under the circumstances.
