I cant sleep. Someone decided to have a damned garage sale this weekend at my house, cant even begin to comment, and I have to be up in three hours. BTW, its 3 AM in Arizona and I've been watching Buckeye videos for 3 hours now hoping to get drowsy. Going on short gas today gentlemen. Wish me luck.

Have no fear about the Buckeyes tonight. They will cruise in the second half!

:oh:

:io: I do the same thing when I can't sleep. The video don't always get me drowsy though. My secret is warm milk. You may need a nap this afternoon (during the Michigan game) to get through the day! Good luck. We start fast and finish with a flourish. Go Bucks.

you guys have been dominant for so long, do you even get nervous on game days anymore? When was the last time you went into a game 1, being an underdog, 2, being favored but thinking you could lose?

it's a good time to be a buckeye fan, that's for sure. Just wondering if you guys get nervous anymore.

Fun question Mike. I don't know how well you followed the bowls last year, but a LOT of people had us losing to Oregon. Some people were predicting blowout. I wasn't nervous because I don't buy the stupid hype, but when TP was a frosh and Boeckman played outrageously inconsistent that year, I was nervous every single game.

hard to believe you could have been nervous about a team coming off back to back national championship appearances......life is tough for you guys right now:biggrin:

I think we have more reason to be nervous in a year like this than in a year where we are expecting to drop a few games. There is simply so much to loose.

I'm always nervous before the game starts, just like back (way back) when I was actually playing organized football (hs). After the first series or so, I'm less nervous, especially if we are looking like we're somewhat in control.

Back in 2004, I remember not being nervous at all, especially after we dropped a couple of games. It was more of a curiosity of whether the team would play better that week. I still wanted to win, and was excited once we turned the corner, but that pre-game nervousness wasn't really there.

Reading various Badger message boards. You know that you are seriously outmatched when you're main argument for a victory is "we are due for a win against Tressel."

This is setting itself up alot like OSU vs Iowa in 2006. We all remember how that went down.

I don't know. This is totally subjective, but I just don't have the same "feeling" for this game that I had that year. I remember totally expecting to dominate Iowa, who I felt hadn't really proven anything at that point. This Wisconsin team may not be a national title contender, but they're legit. And Madison under the lights is a-whole-nother beast than Iowa City under the lights, IMO.

I expect us to win, but I still think this will be our biggest challenge this year, just as I have since the offseason, and I think it will be a close, hard fought game.
