Game Thread tOSU at USC, Sat. Oct. 31st, 7:30 pm ET, NBC

Sounds like Siereveld may be back. That is huge.

Also sounds like both QB's may get looks.
Sounds like Day really wants TSC to step up, but Fahey is just better right now.

I am not a fan of rotating QBs. You have to pick a starter and give him a fairly long leash.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the only time Day has rotated QBs was Brown coming in for McCord in the redzone, briefly before his ankle got rolled?

I am with you on using both.

Yeah that happened, and it was predictable and bad.

When you have two, it means you don't have one

I really hate USC. In fact, the only team I hate more is scUM. A lot of that has to do with them winning the Rose Bowl vs us when I was a little kid, and the fact that we had not beaten them in my lifetime, before 2017. Plus they seem to love hiring douche coaches..
They caused us some severe pain a few times. I was at the Rose Bowl after the 1974 season, at the Coliseum in 2008, and at the Shoe in 2009.

I was much happier after taking in the 2017 Cotton Bowl at JerryWorld. Finally got to see a win in person.

Especially in this case. Rotation just hinders the ability for either guy to be able to get in a real consistent rhythm

Methinks that Day knows, without question, who the starting QB is. He is playing the cloak and dagger game to keep USC guessing. Frustrating for us, but understandable considering the circumstances we find ourselves in.
Yep, he talked like that about Julian and Lincoln. It was never particularly close.

thats the most worrisome part about this situation unless he just doesn't want to have the rest of the week to game plan for whoever it may be
Welcome, Newbie!
Day is just playing cat and mouse. He wants USC to invest time preparing for both Luke and Tavien. He's just taking advantage of the circumstances. It's not as uncertain as he wants people to think.

I'm fairly certain there's a plan in place.

Day has every right to be coy with his answers. No one outside of the locker room needs to know and hell about 95% of those inside the locker room don't really need to know either.
