I just never want to see Joe B throw again. We're better off punting on first down, seriously. Let's take the positives from the first half, learn the lessons from the second, and go on to next week.

:oh:

Agree. I would really like to see what's going on at practice that Fickell thinks Joe is better than Guiton and Graham, because I am not sure how either of Guiton or Graham could be worse than 1 for 12 with a pick.

I would have rather seen us run hyde into the line every down than let Joe B throw again. Hyde was getting 3 or so yards on almost every run. The best thing I could hope for when Joe B dropped back was that he would throw it away.

Funny how I never once bitched about tress ball.

Funnier that the 2nd half O didn't look a fucking thing like tress ball...

And for the record tress ball wins this game 99.9% of the time.

That is why it's on the fucking coaches. Have NONE OF THEM learned!?!?!!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!??!?!?!!?!??!!!!!!!!?

Funny how I never said you did, and that I was posting a point you agree with but you feel the need to somehow turn it into an attack.

Also funny how close you are to a vacation.

Fragel was quoted, "we ran the same stuff as we did in the first half"

Hey coaches, why the fuck are you running the same shit? Obviously the other team is going to make adjustments. Why can't we change some things up too, keep them guessing?

I kinda feel like we shouldn't have left the running game when Bauserman came in. Lose of focus, and assignments. Coach Fickell had the "Deer-in-the-headlight-look" on the side lines. Didn't like that. Off to bed.

Football is a game of pressure, and the turnover giving UNL the short field, followed by Braxton's injury just happened to put immense amounts of it on a (in case we forget) very young defense. The offensive play calling and execution definitely didn't help alleviate it.

Don't disagree at all.

Can we all just agree the entire team played shitty once Brax left the field and call it a day? I'm tired. My whole day sucked.

I'll drink to that.

I never thought it would be as close as it was honestly. I picked UN to win and cover.

I put on a brave face and said that the Bucks would win 17-13 but I never believed it.

Great game men and a great win for the Huskers.

I'm disappointed and feel just awful for the players. The coaches have some explaining to do as always, but this season is going to be a learning experience for all of the young guys. The rest of the schedule is tough no matter how you slice it. No gimmes at all.

I just hope that the selfish actions of a few don't set the program back for any length of time. Anyone who doesn't think that Ohio State has punished itself need only look at what's going on right now. The repercussions of these suspensions and dismissals have the potential to impact the program for years to come.

Off to bed. Damn.
