I say run for the hills if we can't move the ball against Nebraska. [/B]

That's a bit extreme, man. Defense is emotional and you are fooling yourself if you don't think Nebraska's d will be fired up at home tonight. I think if we can control the ball (something which hasn't been accomplished this season) and play a field position game tonight we have a chance.

I just get a feeling that the Bucks could pull this one off tonight....just a hunch.

Same plan. Noonish.

Forgot. I'll have a Buckeye necklace on too. Walking with a white #2 (and a Nebraska fan :shake:).

I'm sure I'll stand out in a crowd

I'm leaving my Nebraska fan home until gametime (she has the tickets).

Red "Time and Change" shirt, block O hat- see you there!

I've got quite a few Nebraska fan friends. Consensus seems to be that the Huskers learned their lesson last week about letting Martinez throw the ball. I see Nebraska running it til the cows come home. The only time they'd need to throw it is if they fall behind and I don't see the Bucks lighting up the score board. I think this will be a low scoring affair run mostly on the ground by both teams.

With that said, I'm very curious to see what tOSU offense is able to accomplish tonight. Half of me thinks we do nothing but run...the other half of me wants to see us line up in the spread and let Braxton run the type of offense that best fits his abilities. But if Bollman can't come up with a little bit of creativity to figure out how to move the football...I don't know what to think.

I hear you, man. I must admit, I was far more excited for this game 10-12 months ago. I feel really deflated with all our off the field crap compounded with our poor play on the field. Buckeye Nation has grown accustomed to 10 win seasons and BCS games. Thus far, this is a season of humble pie. :(

Yeah, that sums up my general attitude.

Hard to get up when you are so down. However, this Buckeye football and no matter what happened the previous week, I have to believe that the team will bounce back. Maybe this is the game. The big difference between this season and most of the rest is that I am up for Game day, but down during the week because the damn bad news keeps coming like a zombie in a horror movie - slow, disgusting, and brain fucking (read Posey +5).

That said, GO BUCKS!

:oh:

Might as well post my prediction....

Ohio State- 23
Nebraska- 17

At some point this team is going to play a complete game this season. The pressure is off them; the world has wrote them off. I just have this sneaking suspicion that tonight will be the night that the Bucks string together some kind of offense. I'm hoping like hell it is, because this season has been tough to watch. Go Bucks!

I hate to say this, but I put my $ on Nebraska tonight...to cover

Nebraska 28
OSU 6

I just don't see our offense doing much still. Our defense will keep the game close early, but they'll be on the field almost all game.

You do realize they're paranoid about their own offense right?

With just an offensive effort approaching adequacy we could've won both the Miami and michiganlite games. That's part of what it so frustrating about this season. We're not losing 48-6. The defense, even though not perfect, is playing pretty fcuking well and keeping us in games. We may not be able to hold them to one td, but IF we can score 21, we've got a solid shot.

Yeah, and in my opinion, they are better than Miami's offense. Look what happened there.

I wouldn't say better. Stats wise in total offense they are, however, Miami was more balanced whereas Nebraska depends heavily on the run.....specifically Martinez.
