I agree with running the ball more in short yardage, but honestly they just can't win blocks and every run is 2-4 yards. Sometimes that is on Henderson missing holes, but he's usually running into clogged lanes. When they go under center the backside defender can get in for a TFL because there's no threat on the edge.
Until they can figure it out, this offense is 2018-esque and will struggle to score TDs. A bit surprised Day doesn't have better plans for the running game and constraints to keep the defense honest. I keep waiting for them to turn it on and take it to that next level, but right now this is who they are.
Stroud wasn't great, but made some great throws. Passing game loses effectiveness when PA isn't there and the defense knows that's the only consistent way you can move the ball. Losing Wilson hurts, but not sure he makes a significant difference today.
