By the way, is anybody other than me having trouble keeping their days straight? The last couple of days, I woke up thinking it was Thursday. Today, thought it was Friday. Jeez, this is agonizing :smash:, but in a totally good way:yay2:. C'mon, Saturday! :urban2:

Im aware but itsno different than JROTC or ROTC - its for funzies and means nothing. I would them rather do what the AF Academy does by putting their patch on.

That "rank" is pointless outside of student status so Im not too impressed by that uniform feature, but hey everyone has their own taste.

Was about to point out the same thing. They may have some internal imaginary rank, but it's no military rank. Nobody has to salute them or anything.
Was very annoying at NATTC Pcola too... with a mix of OCS, Flight School, and the entire enlisted training component for aviation MOS / Ratings in the Navy-Marine Corps. Gotta salute the flight school guys, not supposed to salute the OCS guys. Good luck distinguishing the shinies at distance in the glaring sun.
This was before it occurred to me how annoying it is to deliberately stagger-salute officers (make the officer return salutes to umpteen different people in sequence between the parking lot and the commissary)
