Before the game, the only defensive category in which Ohio State did not lead the Big Ten was Rushing Defense. Iowa had the Buckeyes by one yard total (0.1 ypg) in that category.

Ohio State now leads by 76 yards in that category (almost 7 ypg).

I don't know why some people attack Tressel and his playcalling and conservative approach so much, when JT has proven time and time again to be money in close games like this.

I realize that the announcers have to talk about something, but prasing Ferentz for his "outstanding" record at Iowa (88-59, .599 winning percentage) is going a little too far. The last coach who left Ohio State winning only 60% of his games? Wes Fesler in 1950 (21-13-3, .608 winning percentage).

One of the worst jobs of officiating ever. At least a bad call finally went Ohio State's way at the end of the game (the hit by Hines).

I can see why JT made the decision to kick that field goal, but what if Iowa had made that field goal that they missed by inches? The game would have gone to OT again.
