Game Thread tOSU at Iowa, Sat Nov 20, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN

I think this will be one of those games where Iowa comes out really fired up, like when our hoops team plays Middle Tennessee State --- they outgain us for the first 5 or 10 minutes; then the Boren Brothers get pissed off and we start bulldozing Iowa up and down the field.

I see a lot of misdirection, a lot of Sanzenbacher, a lot of Terrelle rolling pocket/scrambles for big gains.

Iowa will get theirs, but I think it ends OSU 37, Iowa 18.

Picks for Homan and DTorrence.

Go Bucks! Beat the Three-Time Coach of the Year!! (he's a genius, he'll rationalize it somehow!)

I said before the season started Wisconsin was our biggest and toughest game.

Iowa usually plays bad against us and we usually play great against them. We just simply have their number. They don't make me nervous one bit. I think we win this game comfortably. I think PSU is playing alot better football than when they played Iowa. I think the PSU win will look better when they beat MSU.

42-17 Buckeyes

It was reported this morning that TP says that he likes the game-plan for Iowa more than any since he's been a Buckeye.

My guess:
That means that they're going to option Adrian Clayborn rather than block him. This puts immense pressure on TP to make quick decisions, something that has not been his strong suit to this point. We will probably also be including play action off of zone read option.

If this is the plan, and TP pulls it off, then Iowa is in serious trouble.

If we don't give them anything on special teams we should win although I think the 25 point blowout predictions are a tad optimistic. Last year, just when it looked like we were going to pull away from them we gave up a kick off return TD and the next thing we knew it was overtime.

We gave up a kick off return at Wiscy, played catch up all night and we know how that turned out. Iowa must have to drive 70-90 yards to score. No big plays. If we keep them on a long field they're going to have a long day.

Go Bucks! :osu:
