If they had called it "helmet-to-helmet" I may not complain as much. But there was NO mention of helmet-to-helmet....just that the receiver was defenseless.

True, but Hines was as tall as the receiver, in which he hit him straight up. Tough call, and judging from the NO call earlier in the game against Iowa, the ref SHOULD NOT HAVE thrown the flag. Now if they called the one earlier I'm fine, but this is lopsided right now, and its BS.

no you're right....refs made the correct call on the Hines hit but #$^#$%# up the call on the Brown facemask.
