Game Thread tOSU at Indiana, Saturday Oct. 17, Noon ET, FOX

If we hadn’t lost Sayin this would feel amazing. Still is great but it’s sort of a bummer that’s for sure.

As much as I slammed Julian this game, after seeing Fahey boy I’m not sure we want what’s coming. I was completely sure I wanted to see what 13 had instead of 10 but after seeing a few snaps it’s pretty damn concerning lol.

Hopefully it’s just the structure of the defense, the atmosphere, and the multiple illegal players IU had. But it wasn’t pretty.

Here’s hoping we can get it at least to the long where we can survive for 2 weeks.

Thought it was humerous that the Indiana faithful, bless their pea picking souls, were gnashing their teeth at losing to tOSU. There's not one mother's son that DOESN'T remember when IU was the welcome mat to be walked over of the B10......
Or when their stadium basically became the Shoe when the Bucks came to town because there were always more OSU fans than Hoosiers in the building.

So, we did win a zany game against #5 in the country at their house.

I'm still not that impressed with the Arthur Smith schemes and play calls. Sayin seems to have taken a step back too.

But, there is the lack of a prolific running game, and that has to have a negative effect on the offense being able to dominate, or at the least be more dynamic. Looking at the game now, the secondary gave up a lot of big chunk passing plays. The o-line...

Indy almost always gives us a run for our money lately.

Mixed bag of issues imho.

This excerpt is hilarious to me.
"He's got confidence, he's got athletic ability, he's a competitive kid," Day said of Fahey. "I don't think the moment was too big for him."

On his first snap Saturday, facing second-and-28 after Sayin's fumble, Fahey scrambled for 8 yards before drawing a late-hit penalty on Indiana that gave the Buckeyes a first down.

Fahey went 0-for-2 passing, and Ohio State failed to pick up another first down.

Let's see how he does with two weeks of preparation and game planning. As a matter of fact he's probably studying USC's defense even as I write this. Luke will put in the work. So will Ryan, Arthur and Billy.
