Game Thread tOSU at Indiana, Saturday Oct. 17, Noon ET, FOX

It’s so bad man. I don’t know what happened, but he can’t even keep up with the game and regularly gets field position incorrect.
Honestly… Gus is probably fucking tired of calling the same 2 or 3 teams EVERY saturday in the fall at the noon game…… i would…

Fahey is more capable than most freshman. Going to need him to run the ball and figure out the easiest throws to make to JJ. I don’t take anything away from this game. He went in cold in a huge moment, and I think he can do reasonably well against most teams.
Look like he definitely brings some mobility.

Problem is we have nothing behind him. You have to be careful letting him run.

Definitely not a good situation

The bye is at the best time. Maybe we’ll be without Julian but then again maybe we’ll have everyone else otherwise.

If we have the full OL that’ll go a long way. This team was beat to shit entering this game. So to win this was paramount.

Maybe we’ll be without Julian for USC or more but with a few weeks to work we’ll be fine. It honestly can’t get worse than throwing 2 bad picks like Sayin did.

Coaches need to take a hard look at the QB spot though. I saw a QB that was afraid out there with Fahey. Every throw was in the dirt and that can’t happen.

I disagree. Fahey will give them fits with his running ability and wear out their dline by making them chase him. The gameplan will be dumbed down compared to what we have seen this year, but I've been hoping to see a more simple, move the chains passing game, anyway.

With 4 or 5 WR's plus the TE to throw to, plus check down to RB I don't see why that wouldn't work. He looked good, if against the MAC, earlier. We know he is capable. 2 weeks to get Fahey ready. How much of a qb wizard is day, though. We'll see.
I’m kinda with you. A couple of weeks to get timing down with the 1s, his mobility — should Day allow for it, but I think he has to — will have the potential to really open a lot of things up. It could be a lot of fun to watch.

I agree why? Does anyone on IU feel terrible for the personal foul hit that hurt Sayin? Probably not.
They probably do. Injuries are universally bad in the eye of any logical human. That last catch to win at home against a top 5 opponent and a win streak to only catch the ball out of bounds. Yes. As a fan of the sport, college athlete, and logical human, YES. I feel bad for the kid.

I have a feeling this is a season ending injury. We have to wait. But in a slight looks bad and probably will require surgery.

Need to give the young man a break. I’m sure he wasn’t prepared at all during the week. Got thrust into a pressure cooker situation. Play calling was suspect. OL was not helping.

I’m not sure what more he could have done in that situation.
