Someone should be able to complete a pass. They did it in high school. That's how they got recruited by Ohio State. If they played like this in HS, they'd be playing JUCO somewhere.

It's just mind boggling how we can't complete a pass in a half of football.

They aren't playing against high school athletes...

Yep...it's not that hard to throw a 3 yd rollout...I just don't get it. Every time they go to pass the ball, it seems like every route is 10+ yds downfield and its slow developing.

They're using a second of the 2-3 Miller has to pass the ball just to have a useless play-action fake in there.

That's why we run the ball people. It's not difficult to see...

We run the ball because we don't have a brain in the booth to call plays that put a young qb in a good situation. And when we do call a passing play its intended to be 40 yards down the seam.

Rhythm is all im asking for...get the kid into a rhythm. You can do that calling 75% running plays. Its obvious our wideouts are not helping the matter. Lets make it simple for them too. Call a quick slant...call a quick curl. Hell they may not get a single YAC but damn it will net us 3 yards and it creates rhythm for miller

My negativity towards this entire season is getting the better of me. I'm saying mean things, then immediately deleting them. Don't worry I won't post them, and I'll try to post positive things as much as possible.

Yay, we have the lead, Go Bucks!

That's really how we have to look at it this year. We're up on a 6-0 team on the road. Given we are 3-3, it could be worse.

That doesn't make it any less ugly, though. :sick1:

That is an awful excuse. No offense. You're right, they are playing against other players of similar talent. Something tells me that if they get to the NFL, they will also be playing against athletes of the similar caliber.

That sounds like the people who used to say "our second string could start on 100 teams in football".

I have done the same thing. Ooops just deleted one again...

My one question for the half is this:

Why the [censored] doesn't Bollman know what a screen pass is? For [Mark May]'s sake we scored on one against Nebraska. Why have we not seen ONE screen pass?! WHY?!

Good question.

Gotta think that our coaching staff's inability to develop a QB and call passing plays that help a young QB build confidence is affecting our ability to have a good offense....

Did Miller have this issue with such wobbly passes in high school or is a recent phenomenon????
