Game Thread tOSU at Illinois, Nov 16, 12 ET, ESPN

It's sad that college football has come to the point where you worry as a fan about how bad you blow a team out. I miss the days where a win was a win. We are victims of our own stratospheric expectations, multiplied by the media's constant drumbeat of the question of who is deserving.

I say we let the cards fall and things will work out. If not, I will enjoy watching the bucks in the Rose Bowl. Lets all relax and enjoy this run. We've won 22 in a row for Christ's sake.

In fairness, he said that in a way meant to be a funny statement, not a serious evaluation. He shouldn't have said it, but he is getting hit harder than he deserves for it. I agree with the point that you make, of course.

I still think we could run with either one of them. I don't think either of them are that great. Oregon was supposed to be playing for a NC, too. They were 'unstoppable' just a couple weeks ago. A football game is a football game. This game looks nothing like our last two games. It's all hype, no team is above being beaten.

At this point i just really want an undefeated BiG Championship. Anything more than that is gravy. At times they look like title contenders but other times not close

Being a Buckeye fan is such a burden, having to set your hopes for only a 25 game winning streak at the end of the season. *sigh*

We look a hell of a lot more like #3 than Oregon did.

Let's play a team as good as Stanford before we say that.

The Big Ten being a dumpster fire, Ohio State can't control (although for the love of God people, stop rooting for Michigan to suck and lose every game. The Cooper years have been avenged, so let's move on and root for things in Ohio State's best interest) what Ohio State can control is how they play for all sixty minutes of the game, every game. That, they've failed the test in more than a couple of games this year.
