I think the reluctance has always been the lack of an outside shot between both Craft and Scott. Neither are great shooters, both have become excellent creators attacking the hoop. Aaron has really picked up as a finisher as well.

I think the breaking point for Matta was the fact that holding Aaron and Shannon in seperate line-ups wasn't paying off anyways. If your concern is you can't shoot when Aaron and Shannon are on the court together, but then you can't score anyways, what's the point of not utilizing the best line-up for applying defensive pressure and pushing the ball in transition? The other advantage it creates, is the fact that an opposing 2 guard is left guarding Scott or Craft on the perimeter and both have proven they can get to the rim pretty much at will.
