tOSU 60, Iowa 58 (Final)

Right here is a classic case of a wins a win. We showed some flaws but Big 10 road games being tough is no cliche. Selection Sunday the committee is just going to see a win here and not how hard we fought to get it.

Did anyone notice offut??? I have a feeling he has checked out.... Always looked pissed and did not interact in the huddle at all....

I saw the complete opposite, he was up off the bench cheering and thought he played very well when he was in there...

Still don't understand why he hasn't played more this season...

Liked the idea of going man last night, but we sucks just as bad at man as we do in the zone...It is the defesnive principles were we lack overall...

very nice drive for 2 by Walter and a nice entry pass to BJ for 2 earlier. I felt he was a key contributor as those 4 points ended up being the difference in the game....good win for our boys and now lets get #20 on sunday.

Few things bug me more in basketball than having to watch Mustard take on Ketchup and we get it from 3 different teams :smash:

I agree that our Man to Man wasn't excellent last night...but at the midpoint of the first half they were 3-10 from the 3 point line (30%). We played exclusively zone the remainder of the game and they shot 9-19 (47%).

When you are playing a team that can only beat you if they hit 3's, i'll take the 30%.

The guy talking about WO has no idea what he is talking about. It is very similar to myself:biggrin2: I am wondering if Walter's knees have been bothering him some this season and Matta might have wanted to make sure he was ready to go next season. He really looks like he could have been a contributor, similar to Madsen, this season.

I thought we were playing the man-to-man pretty well initially and then we just headed to leave guys on the perimeter to help out underneath the basket and there were no Iowa guys under the basket. Very confusing. You just don't leave a man on the perimeter once they have hit one shot yet two, three, etc. I have no idea what some of the guys were thinking at times last night but it was a win so I will take that.
