Well, I was critical of Buford's performance in the first half, so I have to hand it to him for his play in the second. He is the only reason this was even a remotely close game. Still, with his talent, I'd like to see him put two halves like that together.

Regarding Kansas, I think they're a good team with a great player (Robinson), that is probably ranked just about right at #10 or so. I think they should probably temper a bit of the celebration given Sullinger's absence, however.

We're going to really need Sully back, because the Big Ten slate this year will present several teams as good as Kansas.

i am very impressed by our heart today. there were many opportunities to tuck tail and run. instead, the buckeyes battled the whole way.

Truth. Shots weren't falling but they battled the whole way. If they played a little smarter on defense (or if Kansas didn't shoot 137%), the bucks might have stolen a W in a really difficult environment. Good effort, work on the D, and get Sully healthy. This team is so good it nearly won on an off night without it's All American. This season is fun.

Even with the loss I am happy with the game we played. Missing the Probable Nat'l Player of the Year, on the road, and not exactly playing our sharpest game, we were in the game until the end. If a few more balls bounced our way and a few more calls went our way, we may well have pulled the game out.

This experience, playing on the road without our best player will serve us well going forward. When we get Sullinger back, coupled with the addition of Ross, who from all accounts is a threat form the outside, we will be very, very hard to beat.

Lack of urgency on offense on the wind down was concerning as well. Need to work on that. They'll get better though. Would of liked to see more Sibert or someone when Buford didn't have it in the 1st half though but they will get better.

White people...
It would be equally annoying if mouthed by a crew of brothers, brother.

Good effort; we learned a lot about our defensive weaknesses against relentless screening as KU did. Now Matta needs to clean things up.

KU did a good job of pressuring Craft; he did not have a good game.

Sully in, we win by 10 I think.

Robinson dominated but ended with 4 fouls.

He fouls out if Sullinger is in that game. Think about the result then. Oh well, we didnt learn from that Kentucky game last season when shots aren't falling. They need to learn how to take what you can when the shots aren't going in. Drive and dish or get the foul and win it from the line.

i was wondering why sibert was in for long stretches towards the end of the game instead of lenzille smith...we needed stops on the other end and pretty much thomas, bufford and craft were doing the only things offensively...a loss is never good but this loss will actually do some good...if sullinger cant even bend over right now to touch his toes then he needs to continue to sit until he feels he can actually play...and this might actually be a blessing because it will get Ross/williams/thompson more minutes...i would love to rematch this team at full strength in the tournament
