I have to admit I'm disappointed with Weis' demeanor during much of the game. Coming into bowl season I thought he was a classy guy, but after the SB ring comments, and some of the stuff I saw today, I'm thinking he has a bit of an ego problem. He reminded me a lot of a certain coach up in Ann Arbor whose name begins with an LLLLL, That JT has also done pretty well against.

Difference in Rushing Net Yards between Troy Smith and Brady Quinn: 98 Yards (TS had 66 and BQ had -32)

wow... 617 yards. 408 for Troy. 260 for Teddy. the longest pass play in Fiesta Bowl history for Santonio. and the dagger to the heart for Pittman. what a game.

ND needs SERIOUS help on the defensive side of the ball... Tom Zbikowski is the ONLY guy on their roster who's worth a damn. and i don't know if he'd start for the Buckeyes. #40, i forget his name, had a bad day today. he got called for the unsportsmanlike after mixing it up with Datish, then was knocked ass over teakettle by Holmes on the TG2 reverse, then was knocked completely out-- and all in the first half!!! i was amazed to see him back out on the field in the 3rd quarter.

FINALLY! after 70 years, we have bragging rights over ND. i can't tell you how happy that makes me. i felt sick early in the game, then a little better, but i really thought i was going to puke there in the 4th... i think i would have died if we'd lost, but it turns out that the outcome was never really in question, just the margin of victory. LOL. you'd think i'd finally learn my lesson and not stress out so much, but i can't help it... :biggrin:

what a great game! i will dearly miss the seniors, but i will always have the memories. think about what this class has accomplished: 3-1 against M. only the 1934-37 and 1960-63 classes had a better record against TSUN. 4-0 in Bowl Games- unprecedented in Ohio State's glorious history. 3-0 in BCS games. 43 wins to tie the 1995-98 class for the most ever. two Big Ten Championships. and a National Championhip! what a great class!!! i love all of them!

man, i love the Buckeyes.

What an ass whoopin it was!! Two thoughts:

When will commentators start talking about what a great QB Troy is? And I'm not talking about G Danielson's remarks during the scUM game.... " he's a real YMCA type of gamer..."

Also, on the road here, the best crowd participation cheer is the four corners O....H....I....O... There is no comeback for that.

Perfect day, perfect game, perfect outcome!

Amazing game, I'm interested to see what the broadcast looks like.

Your absolutely right about this group of Buckeyes. I am very proud of the seniors that stuck with Jim Tressel. Mike Doss set a really good example for this group of seniors in their freshman year and it only seems like more apt poetic justice for Maurice Clarett that he is spending tonight in jail while his former classmates celebrate their third Fiesta Bowl Championship.

It reminds me of the scene in "The Fellowship of the Rings" where Gandolf and Frodo discuss the downfall of Gollum; after all that has happened with Maurice Clarett, you really do just have to pity him. I hope he gets his life straigtened out.

Laura Quinn proved to me to be nothing more than a hottie-looking (for a white chick) bimbo. Every time they panned to her in the stands she looked like she was on frickin' Mars. I hope AJ drills her tonight like he drilled Brady on the field...

Considering your success in predicting the almost then impossible thought of finishing 10-2 with a BCS win back in October, I'd say that AJ Hawk might stand a good chance with the Notre Dame lovin' Laura Quinn after that kind of endorsement.
