most of the low end routers can't handle the large number of connections used in torrents so they tend to freeze. I went through a few routers before I set up an old pc as a router using freesco. now, i just leave everything full throttle.

It'll just take time so just be patient. Tim is the man around here for his contributions because it's amazing for what he did with all of the game DVDs.

Keep up the excellent work and I'll be waiting for the awesome game DVD of Ohio State vs scUM. It would only be even better if Ohio State wins it in The Big House.

I'm sure between us we could find some older computer to give Tim... If he's interested in that route...

I don't have one right now but every once in a while i hear about someone throwing away a computer or selling it for 15 bucks...

What kind of specs are we looking at for a computer that would work?

I'm using a 400 Mhz celeron as my router. What's really nice is if you can find an old, junker laptop.

I'm anxious to see one of Tim's creations.

I wish there was a way to get some of the very old public TV broadcasts of the game. They would be broadcast well after the game was over, but always had commentary from Archie and the halftime show.

A while, depends on how many people are seeding but you're looking at an average of 10-15 hours for a 1.5 GB file. In other words, start it now, and leave it on overnight. It should be done (assuming people are seeding) late tomorrow morning.

Throw in that I quit smoking for tickets to the Northwestern Game last week. (so worth it) That should explain everything...


I'm planning on completing the DVDs in this order: NU, TSUN, ILL. I'm making a highlight video for NU as we speak - er type.
