A top 10 of irritating expressions has been compiled by researchers at Oxford University.

The top ten most irritating phrases:
1 - At the end of the day
2 - Fairly unique
3 - I personally
4 - At this moment in time
5 - With all due respect
6 - Absolutely
7 - It's a nightmare
8 - Shouldn't of
9 - 24/7
10 - It's not rocket science

Thank God, "get 'er done" has just about run its course. In my college days "Groovy" and "This is true" (usually spoken by someone who pointed with his pipe stem for emphasis) got to be irritating.

My least favorite two would have to be "no means no" and "those hands... they don't stop." I mean come on, how many times do I need to hear that in a day?

Oh and I also don't like people who say "I mean, come on."

If you removed those 10 phrases from my old bosses repetoire he would barely be able to form a sentence. I think he used one of those every 30 seconds or so. I would also add

"drinking the Kool-aid"
