Tony Parker said of his favs, "OSU, Duke & Memphis are my top [schools].Kansas & Texas are coming up." If he had to sign tomorrow? "Ohio St"
Tony Parker (Lithonia, Ga./ Miller Grove)
2012, PF/C, 6-9, 280 pounds
Parker is a big-bodied power player on the low block. He has solid post moves and is one of the better scores in the paint in the 2012 class. He is a good rebounder with solid hands and feet. Parker is not the best athlete, but is bouncy enough to get the job done. He can score with his back to the basket and can face up and score with a couple of dribbles. He needs to make sure he stays on top of his conditioning but his strength, size and talent make him an elite-level prospect.
Parker has final three
Tony Parker enters the summer with three schools on his list: Duke, Ohio State and Memphis.
"I love the way they came at me," Parker said.
Memphis is on the list and the attraction is the atmosphere. Parker likes OSU's point guard, Shannon Scott, a Georgian himself. Duke has the history and a coaching staff he connected with.
Memphis Solidly in Top 3 for Parker

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. ? Tony Parker is one of the most highly regarded big men in America. The 6-foot-9, 274-pound center out of Miller Grove (GA) has impressed thus far at NBPA Top 100 Camp, showing why colleges coaches from coast to coast want him to land him.
Parker provided a college list of Memphis, Duke, Ohio State, Kansas, Texas, Georgia, and Georgia Tech.
?Those are the schools on me the hardest,? Parker said, adding that each one of them has offered him a scholarship.
On his favorites at this point, Parker remarked, ?OSU, Duke and Memphis are my top [schools]. Kansas and Texas are coming up.?
Asked who he would sign with if he had to do so tomorrow, Parker replied simply, ?Ohio State.?

Parker Visits Duke, Lists 3 Schools
By Adam Zagoria on June 28, 2011
Tony Parker spent part of Monday visiting with Coach K at Duke and listening to flattering comparisons about what type of player he might become.
?We talked for a long time,? the 6-foot-9, 275-pound Parker said Tuesday by phone.
?He was just telling me how I would fit in, how I would play in their system if I came to Duke. A lot of stuff was fairly true. He showed me tapes of Carlos Boozer and Elton Brand.?
Parker, the No. 7 center in the Class of 2012 per Rivals, visited Duke unofficially along with 2013 small forward Brannen Greene, a fellow Georgian, and 2014 guard Makai Mason of the Hotchkiss (Mass.) School.
Parker said he missed out on playing pickup with the Duke players, but that Greene joined Josh Hairston, Marshall Plumlee, Seth Curry, Ryan Kelly and Andre Dawkins.
?I watched Brannen Greene,? Parker said. ?I came too late.?
He added: ?It went well. We just saw the campus, saw the city, all the players.?
Parker said he?s currently listing Duke along with Memphis and Ohio State but remains open in his recruitment.
?Right now I?m still open but those schools are recruiting me the hardest,? Parker said.
Parker said he visited Memphis ?not too long ago.?
?It was pretty cool,? he said. ?I enjoyed myself. It?s a great town, great restaurants.?
As for Ohio State, he hasn?t been there yet but said he will ?probably? take an official visit there.
As for when the Big Fella will decide on a school, he said, ?Probably late December.?

Here?s a sneak preview of some prospects who will draw the attention of Matta and his assistants this month:
Tony Parker
Height, Weight: 6-9, 270
Position: Power Forward
School: Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove
ESPN Ranking: 8th among PFs, 25th overall in class of 2012
Considering: Duke, Florida, Georgetown, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio State
Camp This Week: Nike LeBron James Skills Academy
Outlook: The OSU coaches desperately want to get a quality big man signed this November and on campus next summer and Parker would fit the bill perfectly. He?s a classic back-to-the-basket player who can overpower foes in the post. He is a load to stop from attaining position and often goes right into a move that gives him a high-percentage look at the rim. He has big hands but still shows nice touch around the basket and even when left alone from an intermediate distance. If Parker performs well again this week, and holds up to the intense nature of the LeBron Camp, Nike will hail him as one of the very top prospects in the country. He may be already.
Parker had a list of reasons why Memphis is among his top three choices, but admitted he's open to hearing from other schools.
"Those three schools are just recruiting me the hardest and they're focused on me more than anybody else," he said.
"They've got great atmospheres and they're great places to play basketball. Duke with their strong history. Memphis plays in an NBA arena every night, probably the closest you can get to the NBA. The fan base at Memphis. The fan base at Duke. You know Ohio State's football, but they give basketball players just as much love."
Asked about Memphis, Parker said he's been impressed by the job Pastner and his staff have done in developing players, particularly sophomore forward Tarik Black, who became a consistent force inside last season while earning Conference USA all-freshman team honors.
"The support at Memphis is really great. They have a great coach. Coach Pastner is young, but he's doing a great job with his guys," said Parker, who plans to make official visits to Memphis, Duke and Ohio State. "They have done a great job with Tarik Black. I feel like he's going to have a really big year this year. I see what they're doing with their guys. They're really developing them and making them better basketball players."
One of the Buckeyes? many targets to replace Sullinger ? either next summer or further into the future ? is Lithonia, Georgia big man Tony Parker. Like Sullinger, Parker can score with both hands and step away from the basket to knock down jumpshots. Even in Georgia he saw enough of Sullinger?s freshman season to know that ?Jared is good for college basketball? and that Ohio State is a top-flight program.
?It?s a huge school, a great campus,? Parker said. ?Growing up I had heard of the Ohio State Football program; I think everybody has. But basketball has really come on strong.
?Coach (Jeff) Boals, Coach (Dave) Dickerson, Coach Matta, that?s a really good staff. They?ve done a really good job with me.?
Parker said Duke, Memphis and Ohio State are his current favorites, with Kansas and Texas ?coming on strong.? Scout.com ranks Parker as the 18th best prospect nationwide in the class of 2012.
