Tom Herman (Former Head Coach FAU Owls)

While I generally enjoy some tasty Longhorn tears, every loss this year is gonna be all............

Texas has been mediocre (or worse) for 40 years outside of that 04-09 run with Radio and Colt. Tejas fans and the media seem to think that Texas being on top of college football is always right around the corner when mediocrity has been the rule and one brief six year window of national relevance was the exception.

Texas (1984-2003) = 151-86-3 (.635 winning percentage)
Texas (2004-2009) = 69-9 (.885 winning percentage)
Texas (2010-2017) = 53-48 (.525 winning percentage)

From 2004 to 2009, Texas had the best record in college football and won a national championship.

In all other years from 1984-2017, Texas had a combined record of 204-134-3 (.603 winning percentage).

Thanks. Just as I assumed. Averaging 4 losses per year over a 34! year span does not a blueblood make. And this year's high school seniors were in 3rd grade the last time they weren't god awful. Thank god they have their Berkeley-tsun-UVA academics to fall back on. Oh wait.

Yeah, but I’ve heard their linebackers are really fast.

and likely win a 2nd one with Colt if not for the injury. They were competitive with Garrett freaking Gilbert.

Since then, Ord's tear delivery service has been working overtime:

I would love to listen to the local Austin radio stations now and how they defend Herman and think that Urban had it coming. That was an interesting fan base

Exactly why Garrett Wilson wouldnt have saved that sorry ass program.

I wish we played Texas and I wish we played Brett McFuckface university too.

Yep. I can't wait to go up 3-2 on college football's all-time most overrated program. Odds of them finding another Radio-Colt buzzsaw for us to run into are 1 in a 1000 given that program's 40 year suckathon.
