I disagree if TEs are that important. Clemson' TE didn't even have 100yds, and we all know that OSU ever utilizes the TE. TEs are nice luxury to have and can create mismatches if they're athletic enough. But im todays offenses, I'd still put a solid LT, versatile RB and premier WR over a TE. Losing is honestly a "who cares" scenario. Even without him the 2021 class could be legendary, and even without him the offense for the next few years will be elite.In today’s offenses, I genuinely believe, after the QB, the TE is the second most important skill player on offense.
Absolutely critical in run game, and if they’re athletic enough, lethal in lassi g game once you’ve established the run.
