I can respect how the family is playing it. Let their kid go where his heart takes him without outside ($$$$) influence. We've seen quite the opposite in the past. Cough...GENRO...cough.

Interesting story. Kinda wonder if the family will 'split the loot' when he chooses his higher learning institution. And of course, family not trying to influence his choice in any way, right? Guess am being Negative Nelly here, but that's what I do. Hope tOSU gets the dirigible down here with his name on the sides....better than some dumb old rock anyway.

Just a schlub from Y-town
If true, unless OSU matches that amount, he should totally take the bag and play for UT. They have a decent enough program to get him to the league if he is as good as advertised. Just keeping it real. That is a life changing amount of money.
However, over 3 years, I don't see how OSU can't come close to that.

Remember when the 'under the table' offers included a new job for mom or dad. Never thought of a house, etc. Guess would not have succeeded in the SEC. Do remember when many of tOSU players got 'jobs' at Darby Dan Farms, working for John Galbraith. Probably paid more than being the towel boy for PhysEd.
