I got the same email and signed up for it. My understanding is that we have to wait and see if we're selected as actual participants at some point.

I just received a survey from EA that I filled out. It wanted to know what games I had played in the past 6 months. I'm not sure whether or not it's tied into the selection process. Thanks to my son's Christmas games, I was able to claim several games that I would not have been able to otherwise.
