Time Warner Digital Phone Service

I have SBC unlimited, which was supposed to be $49.99 a month. After taxes and other charges I end up paying over $70.00 a month. Their little promotion says no hidden charges. If I knew that to be true I'd probably make the switch.

I am a happy customer, haven't had any problem as of yet!

So it's $39.95 a month and that's it?

You may want to look at Skype and other VOIP phone services before committing to something like that. I don't have one, but they're gaining in popularity.

I think with Time Warner, it's still more expensive than Vonage when even after you get the discount for subscribing to multiple services. I have Vonage, and I'm happy with it. I just have the $14.99 package. I could actually get the unlimited for $19.99 (employee discount), but I don't even use the 500 minutes you get on the low-end package.

I have it, as a package deal with basic cable and Road Runner. $100 per month. it saves us close to $50 per month having the package.
We have had no problems whatsoever with the digital phone service. No bad connections that I know of.

Only problem I've had with Dig. Phone is that when I talk to someone else who has it, there is a delay you gotta get used to. There is also, on occassion, an..... ummm.... "on off" effect of sorts.. that is, you talk and you can hear background stuff, and then when you stop, it goes quiet til they talk... kinda like a walkie talkie, I guess.
