I didn't mean to imply that you feel Tebow is leaning towards OSU. Just comparing this case to that of Sanchez and Lee in years past. I guess it is better off to just wait and see.

Not that it means anything, but Scout now lists Florida as "High Interest" while Miami, Florida State, Georgia and Michigan are all at "Medium".

I see the last article was April 26th. That doesnt mean the Schools of Interest was updated then. There is probably a parser that checks for Tim Tebow in articles and automatically adds them to that page you linked.

There is an article talking about his top schools, but I can't read it. Does it reference a newly found love with Florida?

trust me, i talked to both bob and tim tebow last night.....florida may have a lead right now, but they are still very much open.

they were both adamant that they are not going to narrow the list down to a few for some time yet...

He will certainly take all of his visits. I would love for OSU to get one because that means one of the Southern schools doesn't get one. Here are the reasons I think Tebow goes to UF:

-Parents both went to the University of Florida
-Not only did they both go there, but they founded a few clubs that are still in place today.
-His brother is looking to go to UF. (not sure if he is in or not)
-Grew up a Florida fan.
-His type of skills are almost a perfect match for Meyer's offense.
-Meyer's success with QB. Josh Harris is a current QB in the NFL and Alex Smith was the #1 pick in the NFL Draft.
-Location. Tebow would be around friends and family.
-The area that he lives in is traditionally a very pro-Gator spot.
-Currently has Florida listed as a leader (even if it is just as of now)

If Portis is indeed the heir apparent to Leak, if Tebow went to UF and redshirted that would put Tebow a full two years behind Portis, giving Tebow at least two years to start at UF, and that's if Portis didn't bail early for the NFL.

I really don't think Tim Tebow is going to be scared of 17 year old QB Josh Portis. I like Portis' game though. He is a really good player. However talented QB have never been scared to compete. Kyle Wright went to Miami even though the Canes had Brock Berlin transfer in. Chris Leak went to Florida even though Gavin Dickey was viewed as the future Gator QB. Mark Sanchez went to USC even though the Trojans had Leinart, Booty and Hinds. Henne went to Michigan even though they had Gutz. Perriloux went to LSU even though Jamarcus Russel is still there.
