Coming home from work the other day, I saw a rusted out F-150 on the turnpike with the following on the vanity plate: 15TEBOW
The man-love for this QB down here is borderline psychotic.

All of the hype just gets to me a bit living down here because I still see the "Honk if you sacked Troy Smith" bumper stickers all over the place. And, I still get comments directed at me about that game every time I go golfing since I have an Ohio State bag.

I honestly disagree with you there... I live in Gainesville and I have flat-out NEVER seen any man-love for one person as I see for Tebow. It's actually not even close. The hyperbole surrounding him is extraordinary. People think he's a GOD for returning for his senior year. The commentator hype that is thrown at him (look at him cheering on the defense!!! that goal-line stand was all tebow!!!) is believed word for word and more. Almost every fan down here thinks he's already sown up the "best player of all time" by a mile. It's really quite ridiculous.osugrad21;1452319; said:

Tim Tebow is a perfect example of no matter what you do in life..People will hate you. If Tebow was a buckeye,the worship would be just as high around here. He plays in the best conference in football and wins. His off the field work is phenomenal. His on field work is phenomenal. There's a million college football fans who have waited awhile for him to screw up and to much of their disapppointment..It really hasn't happened. The only thing people can say is..."he'll never be an NFL quarterback"..
I'm sure if TP ever reached Tebow status that people around here would say..This is just ridiculous
