Tim Beck (HC Coastal Carolina)

Don't get your hopes up just yet, but....

Don't tease us like that.

We have been through enough. A National Title down the drain, a deserving Heisman candidate dissed, the most talent ever assembled on an OSU offense squandered. Watching MSU win a B1G and then embarrass the conference against the damn SEC darling Alabama.

Stop it already. This season has been painful enough without some jackass taunting us with the dismissal of the biggest jackass to ever call a play at tOSU.

Oh, I can barely stand this wild anticipation . . . (sighs heavily)

well...things did work when Warriner was in the coaches booth babysitting Beck. If that remains the arrangement there isn't a need to make a change I guess....
It seems like a waste of a staff position to continue that arrangement, but trust the coaches and all that.

"No staff changes" is an important position to take for recruiting purposes as well, so there still might be some moves.

I'm not sure why anybody is surprised by this. First, Meyer doesn't seem like the type to fire an assistant after only one season. For as much as some of us might want that in this case, once you step away from the internet and try to think of the real world it was always going to be long odds of that happening. Second, how else would he ever answer a question like that? It's not like he's gonna come out and say, "Heck yeah I'm gonna fire somebody I just wasn't sure when to bring it up."
