Tim Beck (HC Coastal Carolina)

Honestly, I think a young, hands-on coach like Herman might actually be able to overcome the Beck effect.

I've always felt like the problem with Beck was a distinct *absence* of coaching. Urban is no longer at that stage of his career where he was willing to micromanage the offense, and Warinner has always been best as a pure line coach.

If Herman can provide the actual coaching, while Beck sticks to the recruiting, the Tejas offense might have a chance.

WOW, what a load of BS that article was. The QB play regressed badly with both JT and Cardale. The offense sucked donkey balls against powerhouses like Northern Illinois and Western Michigan. I hope that shitshow of a story makes them feel better when they can't complete a damn forward pass.

Anyone who made snide comments on Thursday night care to come forward?

This guy was, at a minimum, 50% responsible for the shitshow offense we had for two years. And for that, I ultimately hold the highest respect for Urban in that, if he expects a two year commitment, he honors a two year commitment.

Mensa better get wise real quick. He's got a good name but a short history... he can't point to a long history of success and with the UT alum, he'd do well to be taking a good hard look at his succession plans now.

That said, glad he's Tom's problem now.
