Tiger Woods (Offical Thread)

But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one's own family.
...
I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it's difficult.

The principle of marital fidelity on the other hand...

Just for the past 12 years

There is no "so called", his image is his image. He makes millions off his image. If this was just some dickhead in the local neighborhood having a fight with his wife because he screwed around on her then I would agree.

Once you are a celebrity what the media/fans/adoring public thinks about you does indeed matter at the very least his endorsement partners care what the public thinks.

I agree, if you break the rules you pay the price and that's the process that's begun for him near as I can tell. My point is just that mainstream America will usually forgive a person when they fall from grace as long as they sense some remorse.

I'm sure no one gets married with intentions of screwing around on their spouse but the fact is it happens a lot. I don't condone it but in the grand scheme of things I personally give a [censored] about other people doing its not real high on the list.

Good replies - and I did figure you were married, I just didn't get how a married person would say something like "so he cheated, who cares?" like it's no big deal. I guess you didn't mean it that way?

Re: his image.....
I was trying to make the point that his image does not necessarily reflect reality and therefore does not matter in how he should be treated. The fact that he has built an image that makes him $100 million a year, and that many of those dollars could be coing away, that falls under the "he deserves every bad thing that happens to him" heading.
His behavior reveals him to be a dirtbag, and he should be treated as such (by his wife, anyway) until he repents.

You obviously don't look at all because there's nothing not to like. Meanwhile, I don't even think Lasik could help you.

She's mannish.

Every woman must look like a "tranny" to you, then. She is hotter than a reactor core.

Nope. Just the ones with strong jaws and broad shoulders.

Just my way of commenting on how I think the public perception will go or how I would try and steer it as his PR guy. Not saying that at the individual level I condone it (in case the wife is reading).:wink2:

Yes its wrong to do and it's an obvious character flaw but I think you fess up, pull a RR and get humbled and it won't take long before the general public could care less. Someone else will fuck up twice as bad soon enough, just bide your time and keep your head down...literally in his case.

Anyone else remember a set of pics of Elin (supposedly)that made the internet circle a couple of years back, titled something like, Tiger's Girlfriend. Much of it looked like it might have been taken by her gynocologist. I wondered at the time if it was really her. If they were in fact real pics it would make for interesting court room conversation.

They weren't her, it was actually a Playmate.

As the saying goes, no matter how hot she looks, some guy somewhere is sick and tired of putting up with her shit.

Was one ever conducted?

I'm not sure. I thought police were conducting an investigation, including a drug screening to see if they would pursue any additional charges. None were filed, so I'm assuming the drug screening came back clean, or they decided to drop it, and let Tiger off the hook.

Not sure...I'd be interested in knowing. Tiger says its none of my business though, so he wins.

The drug screening was a flase TMZ report. The police said they did not have enough evidence to pursue getting the blood test results.

Also, to everyone whos talking about her getting a bunch of cash money - pretty sure Tiger has a prenup.
