Well I made it to the PGA...first tourny, going into the fourth round tied for the lead, and what do I do? I shoot a 77, lose by 6, and finish T-23rd :lol: Two bad holes, what a bummer. This game is amazing though.

I bought a $20 PS Store card to purchase a few extra courses. So far I've only bought Wolf Creek. Not sure what others I will buy

I don't like how they move you right from the Nationwide tour to Q school once you've met the qualifications...you should be able to move on when you want to. I wanted to stay on the Nationwide tour and build up my attributes...

What's the deal with the caddy? Does it stop telling you what shots to hit on its own at some point, or will it always have suggestions? That sorta bugs me (and I know you can turn it off, but it still shows the suggested shots).

Unfortunately, as of now there's no way way to turn off the caddy completely. Hopefully there's a patch that allows you to do so. Im not a big fan of the suggestions, and I use custom shot 99.9% of the time

Id like to punch him in the face. his shot are crap. (caddie) He must not look at the wind, trees or elevation change. asshole

Made it to the PGA tour. was going to play the 1st round but i didnt meet the quals. then the 3rd round i would have to buy ? WTF. No more Fed Ex cup points? that would be a disaster if they took the Fed ex Cup points out. I havent play yet so i dont know.

What are you talking about? That's exactly what the caddie does. If you want, you can mindlessly play through a round because of the caddie. Sometimes his shots are sketchy, that's when you make your custom shot or take the layup.

You need literally zero golf knowledge. This kinda frustrates me because the game is not challenging at all (as if it ever was), because your caddie will tell you exactly where to shoot, where to putt, etc. Mindless video gaming.

One thing about the caddy is that I believe as you unlock the "course mastery" stuff he will suggest better and better shots... but just for the courses that you have mastered.

I think I have struck a nice balance between when to pay attention to him and when not- which is a majority of the time. Once you get used to it it's not so bad. The stupid dick thinks I am the greatest driver in the world because he always suggests I hit it within 10 yards of water hazards off the tee though.

Yeah, I didn't like having to skip the first event (because to play in the first event you have to have won a previous event...so not playable until next year) but then you have to pay to download the first course. That was sneaky by EA...
