The answer will be the sum of 4 digits.

Identify the most recent season in which that season's NCAA home football attendance leader (by game average) was voted #1 in either the final AP poll or #1 in the final Coaches poll.

Then add together the 4 digits of that season.

Edit - don't give the season, just the sum of those 4 digits

I went back and looked at the final rankings each year. I find it hard to believe that Michigan did not lead it that year.

But I'll make a guess. Which is wrong.
