Thread of What You've Eaten, Cooked and/or Drunk Lately


A few years back when I started getting sick I quit drinking for more than a year and just got sicker. First I gave up sugar and then nixed seed oils 100%. I always cooked with olive oil before but I wasn't checking labels. All that hummus, artichoke dip and a lot of cheeses use soy, canola, sunflower, rapeseed and a bunch of other nasty oils. Now I prepare all of my food from scratch so I know what I'm eating and I've rediscovered the fountain of youth. I even drink a couple beers at night and it does nothing. The other ingredient that I look for is modified corn starch.

Combo of the hot peppers in the sandwich and the chill from the Italian ice lemonade was perfect.

There’s one in Arlington Heights, and one in Elmwood Park. I’m gonna try the one in Arlington Hts.

Arlington Park was the former horse track. :wink2:
