How right you are!! Today I was interviewing a member of the client's staff regarding a process he oversees. To break the ice I made a comment (after seeing a Penn State logo on his desk) that he must be a Nittany Lion fan. He commented that he was and I told him that I had a lot of respect for their program and their B-Ball team played us tough both times this year.
The talk quickly went to Oden and his decision whether to return next year and his dislike for players leaving early for the pros. He further went on to say that the NBA should adapt the NFL rule (can't leave for a number of years). He then brought up MoC and his challenge to that rule and then he said this.....

That coach at OSU is a sleezeball and he called the school U of Miami NORTH. He then went on to say that ND, Scum and PU were the pillars of the Midwest and OSU has stained the reputation of the Big Ten. Our standards are lower and that is why we have won a lot of games over the last few years because we are a SEC Team playing in the Big Ten.

Since he is the client I had to hold my tongue and I told the partner after exiting the building that it took every ounce of patience I had not to 'rip that guy a new asshole."

It is a damn shame some people don't want to give OSU and Tressel their props because they are jealous and their school contends for the Big ten title once every decade. Thanks just had to blow off a little steam....:smash: :shake:
you realize we are psu biggest rival? they hate us more than anyone here hates michigan?

That may be, you've read the article and I haven't, but that is not how it's going to be interpreted by a majority of college sports fans. Case in point.

These are the responses I envisioned from people who will look at the cover and the title and not much more.

Screw 'em. If they can't comprehend thar the article is focused on issues larger (and IMO, more important) than merely the scoreboard outcome of a couple of individual games, then they truly are ignorant 'necks.

It's a great article that all alumni, students and faculty should be very happy with.

True, but most of us here still respect Michigan......and would never call the football program sleazy. The basketball program under Steve Fisher and the Fab 5 well that is another thing....

Fredo(OH) chimes in.

http://www.miamihawktalk.com/discussion/viewtopic.php?t=34321

I love how the guy who starts the thread tries to accentuate the positive aspects of the article. This quickly turns to them trying to take credit for things at Ohio State due to one of their former athletic department employees currently holding a minor position in our athletic department, who I might add is not even one of their alumni but rather someone who merely apprenticed there for a couple of years before stepping up to the big time.

From there, it quickly degenerates into their usual bitter nonsense. Although, this little Fredoite couldn't have been more truthful with this little gem, but probably not in the way that he thought.

OSU can kiss my lilly white Miami ass!!!!!

Honestly, Fredo. Did you think that anybody would assume that it was anything but "lilly white?"
