This is an amazing board.

I have some experience in running a sports message board, and I've been around the message boards for many years.

BP is well run, has a clear set of rules and expectations and the mods stay on top of things in an even-handed and fair way.

It's remarkable really.

Better watch yourself, I mean, making well thought out posts like this one with taking off the "scarlet colored glasses" and actually being a stable, reasonalble voice in regards to this "situatiion" might get you in trouble. You may actually have to create YOUR OWN site if you continue to make sense like this. (OKAY, been there, done that)

Remember "Bucknuts" about 7 years ago? You used to be the "voice of reason" over there when WE used to have our "boys club" thing going on. I'm sure MILI remebers those days well, as should any and all that used to frequent that hell-hole that it bacame.Well, do you remember what it cost you? If you don't remember, then I'll help ya. YOUR displeasure with the (Mark MAY) over there lead you to create this site, and I can't tell you how much true "Buckeyes" appreciate this place. YOU put things into perspective that no others seem to be capable of doing and WE love the fact that you do'it!

As always Clarity makes sense and is a voice of reason..which is foreign to the twitter/message board/sport talk radio model. Lets go watch the Bucks win the title..there will plenty of time to disect the football program after the NCAA rules. Responding to every tweet, troll and sport media drivel is not going to change the facts of what has happened.

I may not be familiar to many of you as I rarely post on this site, but as I long time member and avid reader of this board, relatively speaking, it's truly remarkable how this site and its' members, mods, guests, etc continually put things in perspective in a reasonable, well articulated and respectful manner. Even greater than that, I absolutely love and appreciate how most posters (yes, there are exceptions) on this site can voice his or her opinion without being bashed by others(although sometimes it's warranted). BPers should take pride in the fact that we can often have heated, critical and civil discussions\debates without the personal attacks, overly emotional posts and posting with agendas that are so prevalent on other OSU boards.

I wish I could put into words how wonderful it is to be kept up to date by this site on all matters concerning The Ohio State University and it's athletic programs, coaches, athletes, recruits, alumni, etc. but I just can't. Anything I say would be interpreted as sheer hyperbole, but I just sincerely hope that the visitors of this site truly appreciate the greatness of this board. We are blessed as buckeyes to have the best damn athletic program in land, the best damn band in the land, the best damn coaches in the land, the best damn fans in the land and the best damn site on the internet governed by the best damn mods in the land to discuss all things related to the best damn university in the land.

I cannot say that I am well versed in how easy\difficult it is to run and govern a message board, but every single one of us who frequents this board owes a special thanks and a great deal of gratitude to BP mods! They are the gold standard of excellence, especially you Grad(no offense to the other mods, but Grad is awesome!).

Thanks for affording me the privilege(yes, it is a privilege) to be a part of the BP community and keep up the great work. All your efforts to make this site the best are appreciated and never\shouldn't go unnoticed!

I understand the Clarity love and respect him as much as anyone.

But no matter how many times I read the OP in this thread I see nothing worthy of our devout worship.

It screams "distraction." Look at everything else! No. We must look at what is happening with our football program as well.

And largely there are not trolls: there are people asking valid questions regarding Tressel and our team's conduct.

I know I'll get "derepped" for hell for this, but please, this is not taking off the "scarlet colored glasses," this thread is all about wearing them firmly.
